The Dancing for Diabetes SHOW
As part of our mission to elevate awareness of the impact that Type 1 Diabetes has on nearly 1.25 million American children and adults – Dancing for Diabetes holds an annual benefit show featuring award winning and nationally recognized performers creating an evening of entertainment and hope. Now in our 19th year, the show has grown in magnitude and impact since its humble beginnings in a middle school dancer’s driveway Until a cure is found, Dancing for Diabetes is passionately committed to the fight against diabetes.
The 19th Annual Dancing for Diabetes Show will take place on November 9, 2019 at the Bob Carr Theater.

2018 Dancing for Diabetes Show
The 18th Annual Dancing for Diabetes showcase, held at the Bob Carr Theater on November 10, 2018, drew a record crowd of over 1,500 guests and featured hundreds of Central Florida dancers – using their talents raising funds to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. During the event, hosted by WFTV Meteorologist Brian Shields, a check for $100,000 was presented to the Diabetes Research Institute – the only national organization solely devoted to developing a biological cure for diabetes.
