Dancing For Diabetes: The Show

Dancing for Diabetes holds an annual benefit show featuring award winning and nationally recognized performers to create an evening of entertainment and hope; they are champions throughout the performing arts community as well as in the hearts of those affected by diabetes.
Each year, the show grows in magnitude, reaching new audience members. Due to the generous and loyal support of the community and those directly involved, Dancing for Diabetes continues to grow and fulfill its mission.
Until a cure is found, Dancing for Diabetes is passionately committed to the fight against diabetes.

The 18th Annual Dancing for Diabetes showcase, held at the Bob Carr Theater on November 102018, drew a record crowd of over 1,500 guests and featured hundreds of Central Florida dancers – using their talents raising funds to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes.  During the event, hosted by WFTV Meteorologist Brian Shields, a check for $100,000 was presented to the Diabetes Research Institute – the only national organization solely devoted to developing a biological cure for diabetes.
